Millcroft
History:
Millcroft was developed in the 1980s by Monarch Construction. The spirit of this new neighbourhood paid homage to the bucolic setting and the saw and grist mills that once operated in the area. A replica mill was built alongside the mill pond at the entrance to Millcroft. The first houses were built in 1986 along with the signature golf course that the neighbourhood was built around. Millcroft was built over a period of twenty years. It set a new standard for neighbourhoods not only in Burlington but across the GTA.
