Tha Phae Tavern will transform into a lively Thai market to celebrate Songkran (Thai New Year), inspired by Chiang Mai’s Tha Phae Gate Sunday Markets. Shop local vendors, enjoy Thai massage, karaoke, photo booth fun, and try Chef Nuit’s favourite street foods at our food stations!
Songkran, also known as the Water Festival, symbolizes washing away bad luck for a fresh start in the new year. Guests are invited to take part in our Buddha Water Blessing ritual to welcome good fortune.
This year, 100% of the proceeds from food sales, and donations made at the the Lucky Tree Game (where you can win free prizes, Chef Nuit’s cookbook and more), will support students in Northern Thailand and aid Myanmar-Thailand earthquake relief efforts.
