The Koffler Arts latest exhibition, “The Synagogue at Babyn Yar: Turning the Nightmare of Evil into a Shared Dream,” has been extended until January 21st due to popular demand.

This immersive and ambitious project offers a unique opportunity to absorb the story of the historic location Babyn Yar. While exploring the Holocaust as a phenomenon and history, this exhibit also celebrates the Synagogue’s religious, architectural, social, historical, and geopolitical significance.

We invite you to explore this compelling showcase of Ukrainian Jewish history created with our partners: architects Manuel Herz and Douglas Birkenshaw, photographers Edward Burtynsky and Maxim Dondyuk, and historian Robert Jan van Pelt.
